This art I created for The Soundtrack of Martin Scorsese's 2011’s film ‘Hugo’. I was commissioned by Enjoy the Ride Records and Paramount Pictures for the full gatefold vinyl jacket, label and insert designs. With this project, even though I painted all this art Digitally I tried to evoke a classic film feel and capture the essence of Hugo's whimsical and magical storyline. I really hope I paid homage to what I think is Scorsese's most personal film. Also, the fact that the film is scored by one of my favourite film composers, Howard Shore, made this project, particularly special for me.
