When approached to contribute to the 45th anniversary Halloween convention, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to create an Officially Licensed print for such an iconic franchise. Collaborating with Hero Complex Gallery and Trancas International Films, I had the option to choose between the 1978 original and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers.
As a long-time fan, Halloween 4 holds a special place for me from my owning it on VHS as a kid, and I noticed a distinct lack of art prints dedicated to this sequel. This provided both a fun and exciting challenge to create something unique that pays homage to this beloved installment.
A friend shared a video on Instagram of the print being signed at the H45 convention by the film’s star, horror scream queen Danielle Harris.
Seeing her praise and appreciation for my artwork was incredibly rewarding and validated the hard work, passion and care I put into this piece.
