'Songs from Sharknado' VINYL ART
Client: Enjoy The Ride Records, Quint, Anthony C. Ferrante (Sharknado Director)
This project involved working closely with Sharknado series director Anthony C. Ferrante on a vinyl release featuring songs performed by his band, Quint. The artwork was designed to celebrate the first two Sharknado films, with painted front and back covers showcasing key scenes from each movie. The back cover brings together the different locations where the (shark) tornado’s strike, packed with subtle references and details for fans swirling throughout the piece.
Hi - I’m Garreth, a professional Digital Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and creator of Gibson Graphix. In 2021, I made the step into full-time self-employment creating bespoke art for my clients and partners. I have been privileged to work with many clients both globally and UK-based featuring on officially licensed apparel, Blu-rays, VHS, and vinyl record covers. I have also been lucky enough to have my illustrations showcased in TV and film documentaries. Today, Gibson Graphix is an ever-expanding business and boasts collaborations with such clients and companies as Brit Box, 88 Films, Troma Entertainment, and Enjoy The Ride Records.
