This was my second collaboration with Umbrella Entertainment, where I got to design the box art and slipcover for the 2001 action comedy Wasabi. It’s a super fun film set mostly in Tokyo, with some great scenes in a mall and an arcade. Wasabi is such an early 2000s time capsule, so I leaned into that Y2K vibe with the colors and overall look of the designs.
