The only art direction I got from Hell On Shirts for this design was that Ash, the film’s main character, had to be the main focal point. Knowing how strict the license holders are about Bruce Campbell’s likeness, I paid close attention to getting his pose and facial details just right. After that, I added a mix of references and objects swirling around him to give the design a fun, chaotic energy to match the film's tone.
